We are super excited to be given the green light to reopen our campsite from the 4th of July. We are now busy putting in place the right procedures and systems to ensure your Fakenham Fairways holiday is a safe one. We know many of you well and strongly believe that together we can keep each other safe.
Please do read about the changes and if you would still like to book you can contact us via email or give us a call.
So here is what we are doing and what we are asking from you.
Reducing number of campers
To help everyone with social distancing and to reduce the numbers of people using the facilities we will reduce the number of people staying with us. To assist with this unfortunately there can be no day visitors this year.
We are implementing responsible social distancing and asking you to do the same. We are sticking to 2m wherever possible and would ask everyone to do the same.
Toilets and showers
We have decided that due to the humid conditions created by showers it is more difficult to ensure they are Covid Secure, so we will not be opening them at present. We are terribly sad that this may mean some of you feel unable to visit but safety has to be our priority.
We are however able to keep our toilets and privacy units (sinks) open. We will introduce a system to restrict the number of people in the toilet block at any one time. We wanted to warn you that this may result in queuing at busy times. There will be signs and markers to remind you to maintain social distancing whilst waiting, and please use hand sanitisers provided before entering. We will ask for under 14s to be accompanied to the toilet block.
Where possible we encourage you to use your own onboard facilities.
Yes you will be seeing us in our marigolds even more! We have sourced cleaning and sanitising products which have been proven to kill Covid-19 so with 2 deep cleans and frequent sanitising of high touch areas we will be doing all we can to keep Covid-19 free.
There will be sanitisers in key areas we encourage . If we can all keep our hands clean we have a better chance of staying safe. Also please follow the guidance around hand washing – we expect to hear lots of singing of happy birthday!
Water, Washing up and Waste
These areas will all be available for you to use but as you would expect there will be restrictions on numbers to ensure social distancing. We will put up signs and stickers to remind us all.
We ask that you wear a mask when visiting the toilets, washing up area, waste and water points.
Contactless Check in
We are asking everyone to settle up before arrival. Our preference is by bank transfer but if that is not possible for you then please give us a call and you can pay over the phone by card.
When you arrive we ask you to give us a call and one of us will come and see you and show you to your pitch. Whilst most of our pitches are definitely big enough to allow social distancing to keep everyone safe we will be very specific about how you pitch. Please do follow our instructions would hate to have to ask you to move!
What if I’m unwell?
If you have any symptoms before travelling here we ask that you follow government advice and get tested. Please don’t travel if you are unwell.
